NEW HOBBY- Arranging books at Borders

December 16th, 2008 by kadzuki

This whole week is exam. So, Audrey (my partner in crime) and I were having this stress thing and we decided to go to Borders today after our exams to hang out. We have to study but er…. let’s just say that we’re too stressed out. At Borders, we were sitting comfortably on the carpeted floor in front of a pile of J.D Robb’s In Death series. Audrey just started reading the series so she’s interested to know the reading order of the In Death series. (There are 28 In Death books so far). We were so frustrated because the books were not arranged accordingly and so we decided to arrange them ourselves! Yep.. that was how silly we were.

This entire silliness came about when we agreed to watch Twilight this Friday after our exams. Bad decision because we are too excited that we couldn’t focus on our studies; hence the rearranging of book at Borders.  A lot of you might have known that I’ve actually watched Twilight already and it’ll be my fourth time watching it this Friday. It’s Audrey’s fourth round too. *Anyone care to join us?*

I’ve been hit with the Twilight mania. I watched the movie three times and still, my friend and I are planning to go for the fourth round. It’s a little strange, really because romance movies are not my personal choice. I love comedy, action-packed stuff. But I guess, there’s an exception for everything. When I watched it for the first time, I couldn’t sleep at night. I was just too revved up about it. I figured if I watch the second time, it would satisfy my curiosity. BUT NO….. after the second round, it made me feel like wanting to go another round again. Speaking of round two, I sort of swindled my friend into watching it with me. He didn’t know which movie he’ll be watching and when he knew about it, he accussed me of swindling him. YEAH RIGHT, guess what? After the movie, he said he was glad to be swindled. Ch…

After round two, I went for the third time at the Gardens. We reserved premier class tickets. My friend jokingly said that the next time we watch Twilight, it should be Gold Class. I was like, Why Not? We plannned to watch again next Friday…..Are we crazy or what?

Now, why would I be so crazy over Twilight? It’s the casts! Edward Cullen (played by Robert) is super dreamy. AND who could forget Carlisle?? Okay, okay.. I gotta stop this.. RIGHT NOW before any of you throw rotten tomatoes at me.

My SUPERMAN friend….

December 7th, 2008 by kadzuki

How's that for a superhero?I gotta admit.. You have to salute this guy…. He actually posed as the one and only SUPERMAN… and to save cost, he creatively came up with a fantastic idea of finding the garments seperately and combined them to become the SUPERMAN outfit. And guess what? He performed in the costume in front of a large audience! *hats off and bows*

Now, if you look at the picture closely, you’ll notice the red cape, obviously out of proportion, but hey,…. whatever works. A blue jersey with matching track pants, soccer socks and last but not least, who could take their eyes off at that striking red underwear? It looks different from the original Superman’s underwear but then again, we’re talking about the NEW Superman… A guy has to change the fashion to please girls. I bet the underwear is ‘THE IN UNDERWEAR’ at the moment. I wondered if it’s T-Bag though.

I’m laughing my ass off while writing this. I know it’s rude, but I can’t help it. My lecturer once said that ‘Other people’s misery is our pleasure.’ AND I think it’s so darn true. *still laughing*

Sorry Bowen… I’ll let you kick my ass for doing this later… for now, let me laugh… *Bwahahahaha*

Blogging at 6.48 am on a Sunday Morning?

December 6th, 2008 by kadzuki

Seriously, I wonder what’s wrong with me. I can’t sleep.. I don’t know if was the excitement I had after watching Twilight or any other matter. After some unsuccessful toss and turns on my bed, I gave up trying to sleep and woke up to surf the net. I like it in the morning. Connection’s fast. :)
I don’t really know what to write at the moment. My mind’s blur and I’m at the lost of words right now… literally.

I guess I better go you tube and watch some good movies. Yep.. I think I should..:)

James Bond and Kamenashi?

November 25th, 2008 by kadzuki

I’ve never done this before… watching a movie twice and without getting bored. When I mean movies, they’re English movies. I watched James Bond: Quantum of Solace twice! I seriously wonder why I have this sudden urge to watch it again. Maybe the hormones are kicking because honestly, I couldn’t stop thinking about Daniel Craig. I know, a lot of friends prefer Pierce Brosnan, but hey…. I’m entitled to have my say. Personally, I feel Craig did a wonderful job as Bond. He’s sexy as hell.

I do wonder why my taste in men vary? Some close friends would know how crazy I am over Kamenashi Kazuya of Kat-Tun, a boy band from Japan. Kamenashi is younger than me, he has feminine features and still look sexy. I cannot even define what is sexy to me now…. if you compare the pictures, you’ll find Daniel and Kamenashi are both extremely different, in… everything! I seriously wonder if I need some sort of check up. Must be the hormones. (Yes, I’m blaming everything on hormones). o ho ho ho.

To you guys who are actually reading this thing, I sincerely apologise for being out of my mind. I can’t think straight at the moment. My head is just too preoccupied with Daniel that I have to shout it out!

UPDATE

November 23rd, 2008 by kadzuki

Gosh, it’s been like what…. a few years since I updated this thing? Time flies doesn’t it. I’ve changed jobs, went from working in a university to helping my mom managing the kindergarten. Working with Kids are fun, but they tire you. So much has happened since my last blog that I don’t even know where to start. The gist of my life has been summarized as below:

(I’ll put it in point form)

a) Change my job to managing a kindergarten.

b) Am currently studying Diploma in Early Childhood Education. I study because I need that for some official stuff.

c) Became a huge fan of a Japanese Boy Band, Kat-Tun. Wish I could go to Japan to see them perform live in concert! (dreams)

d) I went to JAPAN. Yes, it’s a huge thing for me as I’ve always wanted to go. LOVE THAT PLACE. I bought a lot of Kat-Tun CDs there too! Ho ho ho…

e) Became a HUGE fan of J.D Robb. She’s the author for the In-Death series. I LOVE her books. Read 30 books in like 9 months? Gosh, I love her books.. The only bad thing is…. it costs a lot of money to buy the books.

f) Still crazy about mangas. I stopped writing for The Star’s Manga Section though..

g) Went to Sarawak and saw some amazing things… like the huge durian and the orang utans.

h) Watch James Bond: Quantum of Solace yesterday. I can’t stop thinking about Daniel C. He is sooo darn sexy in his tight fitting black coat.

*coughs* That’s all for now.. Leave me a message if you want to call me crazy or anything.

Img_3785Okay, this was taken on my graduation day. My sister is the one on my left, my grandma on my right and far right is my mom. Wisma MCA is so small that we can’t take good pictures, but hey.. others comment that it’s great as you get to see a crowd of people behind you.
I’m still tired from the entire thing. More money has been spent on the graduation. I just collected my graduation pictures which cost me about RM 190. That’s not all, I went to studio to take another picture because my mom insisted that it would look different and that cost me another RM 110. That does not include the snap shots I took with my own camera after the convocation…that will probably take another RM 20 or maybe RM 30. Damn, those photographers are making lots of money. So, all in all, I have about *counts* a total of 3 potrait size pictures, another ten or 20 normal size pictures. Great… as it my house is that big to hang all the pictures. Maybe I should bring it to my office and put it on the table… Mmmmm that’s a great idea actually.

A very tiring convocation

August 20th, 2006 by kadzuki

Okay… It has been some time since I last update this. The past two weeks was tiring as I have been working 14 days straight without off. The worst was really the weekends where I was to go to Wisma MCA for convocation duties. The convocation fell on 12, 13 , 19 and 20 August, which I have to be on duty for all days except for 19th, which is my own convocation. While everyone looked radiant, excited and cheerful on their big day, I just couldn’t bring myself to enjoy on the 19th. Yeah, it was supposed to be my big day but I was so tired that I kept on hoping that it ends quickly so I can go home for some rest. The morning of 19th, I worked until 1pm before I excused myself to the robing room where I changed, so you can guess how tired I was. I took only less than 10 photographs since it was too difficult to even capture a single shot..(you know how ‘big’ wisma MCA is) So, yeah… I went home soon after convo, ate, bathed, was snoring by 10 pm and woke up at 6 am the nex day for another roound of convo duties. God… life can be sooo tiring. The bad news does not end there; I have to work for another five days before I could get a rest. So…*counts* by end of this week, I will have worked 20 days without a off day. GREAAAAAT….

penning down my thoughts

July 29th, 2006 by kadzuki

Shu03 Oh yes, some of you might not believe it, but I’m opting for a healthier lifestyle. I still eat junk food, don’t worry. I’m not turning into a vegetarian. I take less spicy and oily food and it actually helps. My skin looks better these days and guess what? Recently I started jogging!  I would jog around the neighbourhood for a few rounds just to sweat it out. I couldn’t stand sitting in the office the whole day! I have to move about, so I figured jogging would be a great way to release stress and to remove a few pounds off my body.

Workwise, I have lots to complain. Trust me, if I were to write it out here, it takes ages and I don’t want to let the ‘person involved’ know that I am complaining about he/she/it. Uh..huh.. apparently blogs are subject to defamation. If you want to know more, call me out for a mamak session. I’ll be glad to spill the beans then. However, don’t be mistaken. I do enjoy my work, although not much but I love the people. They are extremely nice! Oh yeah, convocation is near and I will be ushering the parents for 5 convocation sessions. My own convocation falls on the 19th August, which is the fourth session. By then, it will be no surprise to see me tired with two dark circles under my eyes and grumpy since by then, I would have been working for two straight weeks without getting a day off. Imagine that! I would probabaly be too tired rather than excited on my convocation day. *sigh*

Mega sales are around the corner! My friends and colleagues are busy shopping for clothes, etc. Guess what! My sister and I did some shopping too! We have been shopping at Borders, buying books! I love going to Borders these days because the books are cheaper and it’s nearer to our place! Plus, if we buy over RM100 qith HSBC Master Card, we get 15 % off of our entire purchase! I love it!!!!!

Oh yes, before I end, the bishounen in the picture is Shindou Shuichi of Gravitation! He’s such a cutie pie!

One more thing. Sometimes, you might notice that I have punctuation, grammatical and typo mistakes. Please bear with me because I am too lazy to check them and since this blog does not provide spell check, so…… Anyway, do excuse me if you notice any ok?

My Busy Working Life

July 22nd, 2006 by kadzuki

Kazuki_ii_and_sakura_petals Look at the lovely Ito no Kazuki! He (yes, he not she) is so beautiful! I just love him. You should see the master if string at work!

You might think that I always update my blog. Let me tell you the truth. The reason I am posting another post is because I am currently waiting for my mask to dry. (Yep, I’m doing my facial) So, don’t get it wrong. I’m not exactly hardworking; I just want to pass some time till the mask dries. Uh huh, now you know how lazy I am.

My working life has been busy. Well, I have a few reasons which I can’t say it here. Online blogs are still subjected to laws. Well, if you need to know more what I have been doing lately, pick up your mobile and call me! I’d be happy to tell you! Office work, like most others are boring but it is a good experience though. My colleagues are extremely nice people and I have fun working with them because they are so nice.

The other day, my sensei was telling me that I should put more time in Japanese. I really think I should, if only I don’t have so much to do! I still love the language and I am determined to continue with it despite my hectic schedule.

Of late, I noticed I have gained weight. My parents and sister obviously said that they did not notice it but I felt I have indeed put on a few pounds. My body somehow became.. er.. rounder? It was probably due to my eating and sleeping habits. I have been such a good girl lately (or I think so) because I sleep before midnight every day! Hey, that’s a big thing for me as I used to go to bed at 2 or 3 in the morning. Plus, I have been eating regularly since I started working, so I guessed that contributes to my extra pounds in my body. I don’t mind that, except I think I should control my diet a bit or I’ll keep on bingeing.
